An essential recovery item, used whenever a winch line becomes active, the Dobinsons 4x4 Recovery Damper Blanket gets placed over the active winch line in order to dampen the potential energy stored in the winch line in case it breaks. Winch lines will famously whip in any random direction if they break, but with a recovery damper in place, it could drop the line to the ground, instead of causing damage to the vehicle or people standing nearby. Manufactured from high quality PVC, it has long internal velcro straps to reduce slipping on the winch line, and also to allow weighting of the blanket (filled with sand or dirt preferably). High visibility orange color with reflective strip, ensuring it doesn''t get left behind after the recovery is complete.
